Covid Test For Leaving St. Maarten

Covid Test For Leaving St. Maarten - 05/24/2022 08:13 PM

I have always had a hard copy of my covid test when leaving St. Maarten but only have a copy on my phone now. Do I need a hard copy of the negative test result? I'm not worried about American as they have already approved it through Verifly. What about immigration/customs? Thanks for any help.

The copy on your phone is adequate.

Thanks. That is what I thought but wanted to be sure.

It’s on American to verify that you have tested. It’s possible that Immigration could ask for proof, but I’ve never heard of it being done.

CaribLee--I am anal, so I always have hard copies of everything. However, I would say that the only people who checked it, both times we came home, were in SXM. On arriving back in the US, no one asked for anything.

If you want a hard copy just email it to the front desk.
They will print it for you.

With all the information on Verify, we were handed new boarding passes
and went right through the lines leaving sxm.

We saw people trying to locate, or get online with their phones, being either helped or
sent to the side, while they checked other passengers' papers.

Thanks Phil. That's exactly what I did. But since we had the Verifly approvals, no one ever asked to see them. Great meeting you as well. Hopefully we will see you when we return in August. I didn't get to say goodbye to Jesus so let him know we look forward to seeing him again in August. Also, tell Nick we hope he has a speedy and full recovery. Enjoy your last few days.

We flew home this past Saturday. Spirit never even looked at our negative test. I had on my phone but no one ever looked or asked. Airport was not crowded got through checking bags and security in less then 30 minutes. Made for a long wait inside terminal.

Glad it all worked out. I will let Jesus know.
We go back this Sunday 😓.
Spent the afternoon at Lolos in Grand Case eating ribs 😃.
Glad you and Connie are home safe.
I dont have any particular timeframe for my next trip down.
Probably the fall.
I'm sure we will see each other again soon.

Cheers,

Flying United in March, we uploaded our vaccination cards and return test results to their "Travel Ready Center". We were able to print our return boarding passes. We checked luggage and once they saw we had our approval in the Travel Ready Center we didn't have to show anything and were good to go.
