Age for car rental?

My nephew and his wife are coming down for a week in January. In the states, you have to be 25 to rent a car - he's only 23. Does anyone know is there is an age requirement to rent a car in SXM? I would really rather not play chauffeur, and I'm sure they'll want to strike out on they own without an old fart to slow them down.

You posted the same question 2 days ago, to which I responded. It is something you will need to take up with the agency you choose to rent from. I looked at my contract from March of this year and there is no mention of age. I did another quick search and found one mention of 18 and another of 21. Sorry you did not get more responses but I still think it is best to check directly with the rental company for a definitive answer.
