Greetings from Grand Case - 11/07/2022 01:44 AM

Okay so we arrived yesterday during the downpour but at least there was enough sunshine today to enjoy, Staying at LTC le temps cerises which I am enjoying immensely. Lovely sunset cocktails at Korner and a fab dinner at Ocean 82!

Thanks for sharing the pictures! Grand Case has always been one of our favorite places to stay and eat. On another positive note, it looks like Grand Case is free of Sargassum for now.

Enjoy your time in paradise!

Hi BenP. Yes definitely no sargassum in Grand Case. The water was great for swimming.

I love the views of the boats, and the small planes coming in for a landing, always something to see. How loud is the music from Rainbow? I assume it is not that bad in the offseason. If you haven't had dinner at La Villa, I highly recommend - their service is very friendly.

Rainbow has not even been open - not sure why. Maybe too early in the season. Captain Frenchy doing well though. Music ends early and not unpleasant.

Barry. I will have to save La Villa for my next visit. It was busy there on Sunday and Monday. It was great to see the restaurants doing a healthy dinner business.

In speaking with the taxi drivers and waitstaff around town, there is a strong positive feeling about how healthy this approaching high season will be for the French side of the island.

Glad they are doing well, there were some hard times after Irma. Glad to hear the music was not an issue, it was so bad when we stayed a week last February that we are going to check out Antigua in Feb instead of our typical stay in that section for Grand Case .

Yes we sure did! Tuesday turned out to be a gorgeous day! There was a really great vibe on the beach thanks to Le Temps des Cerises and Captain Frenchy! I would definitely stay at LTC again. The staff are so friendly, helpful and efficient.
