Hedonism II, just reminiscing-2 questions - 09/20/2014 01:14 AM

-is Captain Bob's Bare Bum Bar still there?

-does the disco still have windows into the pool? when I was there years ago, the pool went nude at midnight and I was shocked the first time nekked people swam by. I didn't twig that those big blue squares were windows. The disco also had the best laser show to highlight dancers

I also see there are dining options now. there was only the buffet way back when. how's the food? I guess that's 3 questions

I can only reply to question number 3 as I have never heard of Captain Bobs, nor have I been in the disco due to the sound level. However, the buffet quality has increased dramatically since the new owners took over. There is also Martino's Italian Restaurant and Harry San Japanese Restaurant (reservations required for both). There are also the two beach grills, one on the nude side and one on the c/o side during the day. The nude grill also opens again around midnight and serves pizza, which was quite good…especially if you have been drinking heavily during the evening LOL <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/drinking.gif" alt="" />

no one remembers the light show in the disco? it's one of my few coherent memories and it really was a great show. I started going to Jamaica Jamaica because they had better dining options, beyond the buffet ( where a large man in a thong tended to dominate all week) also. JJ was less 'crass.' I remember one girl on my bus from the airport drinking 'blow jobs' all week... without her hands. once was funny, twice amusing, but she did it all week. OYE. OH, and the 'island picnic' with body painting.. does that still go on? one drunk almost died... i thought he'd stumble right into the bonfire. so I guess I'm questioning the 'wildness' level.
