Looking for a non chain hotel by Montego Bay

Stayed at Negril in March at Coco La Palms, and loved the area. Great beach, many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Looking for suggestions in Montego Bay that would be a similar.

We liked staying at the Doctors Cave beach Hotel - no frills but clean and great location
