Tampa Fl unofficial nude beaches

We will be spending winter 2015 in Tampa Fl area and I see there are a few places where there is unofficial clothing optional/nude beaches. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The most popular "beach" is Passage Key sandbar island at the south end of Tampa Bay and is located in between the south end of Egmont Key and north end of Anna Maria island.

Passage is only accessible by boat and as of July 2014, the sand island is off-limits to any foot traffic due to nesting birds but dozens of boat anchor in the warm, shallow waters around the multi-acre island every weekend.

Total nudity prevails.

Does anyone remember the 1970's early 80's Sarasota North Lido beach just off the St. Armand's circle? My goodness what a wonderful nude beach!

Are there any charters/cruises that will take couples out to the location for a day?

Most visitors arrive on Passage Key by personal boat or watercraft of some type although in summer, there are some boats out of Anna Maria Island marina that will go to PK.

I'm from Sarasota and went to North Lido beach alot between 1971 - 1974, but never found anyone nude...I must have missed it! Darn the bad luck! I actually left there, joined the military and found great nude beaches in Gaeta, Italy and over in Sardinia. Since then many places in the U.S. are nude, but haven't heard any near Lido, Longboat, or Siesta Keys.
