TTOL, quite simply... rocks - 08/01/2015 11:12 PM

Tomorrow I leave with family and friends for an 8 day tour of the BVI's on the Voyage Ottertude. This has been the easiest trip to plan and get people pumped up for because of 1 major reason. All of you that freely share wisdom on this forum.

I thank you for answering stupid questions I asked and good ones that I didn't have to ask. Thanks to you I feel comfortable with my transportation (via Kevin)from the airport to my charter base, the state of jellyfish, the open and closed restaurants, places I gotta see and places that won't hurt me to not see. You guys rock!

If any of you are down there next week, hail the Ottertude for a free beer.

Tony

Ottertude is an awesome boat! Those Voyage 52's are the best boats in the fleet. We turned on the underwater lights and sat on the transom for hours.

I have chartered Ottertude twice in the past. I think you will be happy with your decision.

We sailed Ottertude a couple years ago. It has been my favorite boat in 12 or so charters in the BVIs. Comfortable but still sails well. Have a great trip!

Tony--TTOL consists of the PEOPLE who are here, who graciously answer questions and share information. Without the members, there is nothing here..

Tony, lots of good people sharing invaluable info here and Carol and Eric maintain a great website you leave tomorrow for 8 days....we will be at the Bight/Norman Sunday night I believe. Maytrix family and my gang plan to meet up with Tony and the crew of Mardi Gras there Sunday, if you're around!

We saw Ottertude next to the Voyage fuel dock last Sunday. She was clean and ready to go. Nice spot and office team.

After two weeks of very busy sailing it was fun to catch up on TTOL posts! The readily available local and current knowledge from great people makes for fewer surprises. Lots of lessons learned before I make the same mistake, or at least understand what went wrong after the fact!

Rick, were you on Celavie (helia44) for part of your trip?

I think you were moored right behind us at one of our early stops.

Anyway, we're looking at that boat for July 2016. How did you like her?
