Sail Doggie Perpetual Award for Foxy's Cat Fight

Hi All:

In honor of Mark "Sail Doggie" Paulson, West End Yacht Club is having the Sail Doggie Perpetual Award made in Mark's honor. The Award will be presented at the 2016 Foxy's Cat Fight Regatta on Saturday, October 29th and will be kept at Foxy's, with each year's winning cat to be displayed on the plaque.

Sail Doggie was an example of great attitude, determination and the embodiment of the spirit of fun competition. Without a doubt, he is missed and he will be missed at the 2016 event. We look forward to honouring his memory and hope to see you here. We know he will be with us in spirit.

can totally hear him saying that!!!!

OMG yes I would love to do a shirt that also has a nod to the Dawg as well!!! This just set off whole nutha' round of tears! I would LOVE to do this for him and the TTOL gang. I will work on it and get something solid put together this week, we are a month out from CF so we are good!!!

Can I ask what has happened? I have not followed the boards in sometime and know his reports were fabulous & entertaining.

Thank you so much to West End Yacht Club and Suzan for creating an award for my dad. His heart was in the Cat Fight and he looked forward to it every year. I love that the award will be kept at Foxy's as he loved that place so much. Also thank you to Laura for designing a shirt for my dad. My mom and I will be very proud to wear it. My mom and I are so appreciated and humbled by the love and graciousness shown by all of you and the West End Yacht Club.

Hi, I have been catfightin' since about 2000....I had the pleasure of knowing Mark. He was one of the "competitors" I looked forward to seeing each year....

I am saddened to learn of his passing. He will be missed.

Kudos to Loyal West Enders for the memorial award! Class act!
