Virgin Gorda accommodations - 12/06/2017 05:18 PM

Thinking of planning a last minute trip. Just need a place to stay. Anyone know of any villa rentals on Virgin Gorda?

Most of the villas on VG have been damaged. Several (and I do not know which ones) claim to be up and running. Some may be running on generator power which is fine. Electricity in the valley is coming up. Water in the valley is up as it is in North Sound which is running with a generator. North Sound electricity maybe another month.

Hello Nick
I have been following the rebuilding of Leverick Bay and of Virgin Gorda. So nice to see all the local people banding together to get things done.
As you know the South Sound Villa was destroyed. Plans are underway to demolish the existing wood structure down to the concrete lower floor. Then build with concrete up 2 floors. The villa will be much larger and will have 7 bedrooms 8 bathrooms. Will take 6-9 months to rebuild. I will be coming down to the BVI many times during the rebuild. Do you have a room to rent for maybe 4-5 days each trip? So for me another adventure is starting, not one that I wanted but it does let me build and improve on what I built the first time.

We didn't suffer much damage at Adagio however it will be a few weeks until we get a new sliding glass door for the great room - after that we will be up and running again. cheers Brian

Nick, How bad is Euphoria? We stayed there in August of 2008 and still cherish our memories of that stay. I could see from the overhead photo that there were holes in the roof, but that's all I could determine.
