Great Camanoe - 06/09/2021 11:04 PM

Has anyone stayed on Great Camanoe? If so what’s it like? We are considering a trip there next year with six adults and seven kids (ages 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 9 and 11). Thanks!

Have you ever spent time ( 3-4 days, give or take) during a charter in the Trellis/Marina Cay/ Great Cam/ little Cam close environment ? There is some awesome play-time to be had, provided you have a RIB or Whaler type launch as an amenity. Also some sweet gentle beaches for littles not yet rocking the round-the-island dinghy cruising life. If you've ever been on a mooring at Marina Cay and looked across the channel, then you've drooled at some lovely private villas. Even with 2 very littles, I'd not hesitate.

Phenomenal property, meticulously maintained, great staff. Does not currently have a private dock. Community and private beaches have both gotten some sargassum lately. Not sure what boat comes with the rental. Good private hiking trails on island. Good reef for snorkeling. Lovely neighbors, if I say so myself. There are still some hurricane-damaged houses. Easy access from the airport.
