We can get cheap tickets to STT, so I'm curious as to the opinions on how best to get to Gorda Sound from St. Thomas... Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

IWIWSE Traveler I Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 594 Michigan	Depending on what time your flight arrives, you may be able to catch an earlier ferry. Grab a cab to Charlotte Amelia Ferry dock. Take the next ferry leaving for Road Town. Only buy a one way ticket and pay cash as some have reported fraud problems. You clear customs in Road Town. Take Speedy's ferry to Virgin Gorda Taxi's and rental cars are available at the dock in Spanish Town. If you've got time to kill, food and drink are available at the Petite Pump Room in CA or Cappricio's in Road Town Mike 54-46

It can't be beat for convenience, and our experiences with them have been that they are a cut above in terms of professionalism, equipment, and safety.
