Vessels only allowed to clear in at selected ports until further notice.

https://bvi.gov.vg/media-centre/bvi-ports-processing-vessels-arriving-foreign-ports

while there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 in the British Virgin Islands, after carefully reviewing the clearance procedures at our Ports of Entry and in the best interest of our employees, we are proceeding with the temporary closure of select Ports and suspending our Ambassador Service Program at all Ports of entry.
In an effort to assist with the proper surveillance of Port clearance measures and ensuring that frontier service teams are safeguarded the BVIPA would like to notify the public that all foreign vessels will be cleared at the following locations only until further notice:
Road Town Ferry Terminal
Port Purcell Cargo Terminal (Cargo Vessels)
Sopher’s Hole, West End
Acting Managing Director of The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA), Mr. John Samuel indicated that “The BVIPA has temporarily suspended acceptance of foreign vessel traffic at various ports in accordance with Governments decision. This will allow consolidation of the resources required to effectively support the clearance processes including additional COVID-19 screening requirements in these challenging times “. He further stated that “The BVIPA is guided by its internal Pandemic Procedures Plan and the advice of the Ministry of Health and other relevant bodies”. “
These temporary closures takes effect Saturday 14th, March until further notice.
