We just moved our charter from May to early December. All our previous charters have been from April-July. What can we expect the differences to be in wind, crowds, and weather to be? Looking forward to seeing our favorite places in another time of the year!!! You’ll find the evenings cooler, water cooler and the seas larger and more northerly which will make the north shore anchorages a bit rolly. Sometimes the Xmas winds kick in early so sailing will be with double reefed main. All shops and restaurants will be in full swing. The island feeling isn’t as idyllic as in the spring and summer months.
