Yes Ellen, Jekyll Island Club and Resort. If you’ve cruised “The Ditch” you passed by. Now a great resort destination. We just spent three days and two nights here this week. Golf, food, history, fun. The Bar was featured in The Legend of Bagger Vance.
Ellen, you’re up!

Considering I've got a 30 year old bottle with the same name as that on the roof of the building in the last picture, I would have guessed it - had I but checked on time....

Fran, not Keys but their is a resemblance. I guess the reason this candidate didn't get votes is because he campaigned in the wrong country. Here is one of his only campaign stops and it is in ? town?

Fred, I bet if you ate at Choppy’s you had a great meal! A lot of folks are surprised by the quality of the food, but I’ll stay out of it, their getting real close.

Ellen, not that island. SXMFOX, spent a lot of time at Choppys since we were at the marina there a few days - great place. If you have pictures to post and want to name the location, go ahead and do so.

Anyone wanting to use Google, go ahead. While you are Googling, you may want to look up the candidate on the sign - bizarre. I think there was a Netflix episode and maybe a Dateline show.

Beerman - I think you might have it, I wish I'd checked earlier. I saw "Madame Butterfly" in the Arena di Verona years ago and it was a great experience.

I was surrounded by a guided tour group while taking a pic of the Arena, I didn't like the crowds at that moment....but I can't wait to be in a crowd at this moment. I'll post a pic in a few...

We didn't read up too much about this hike before doing it. Signs and literature said strenuous, steep, for experienced hikers etc, we said a strenuous 5 mile round trip hike, cool!. I read after that this hike is considered one of the most dangerous in the US National Parks. A hiker fell to his death just this past Monday there, RIP. The trail was busy at the top, especially the last 500 feet, bottle necked on the narrow ridge, you actually need to hold onto a fixed chain when someone passes, hug the wall as they hug you to get around! I marked people on the ridge trail in a pic for ya!

I'm not sure what the plans are for that resort? We also never stayed there, but they were always very nice to us when we stopped at the office. They let us enjoy the property many times. I'm missing the islands.

I agree the building looks French but Paris seems too obvious so I'm going to leave France and guess Geneva with the clocks and all, and either a bank or train station.

Dan, I'm curious how you blur out names? I make a big mess with Paint and 3D Paint totally confuses me. As far as the location in your latest pictures - I don't know.

I guess I'm being too cryptic here. Trains need to run on time... sculpture with a bunch of clocks... the building is... a train station!
But I'm not going to let you folks off the hook so easily on the city. I hope the this latest photo does the trick.
Fred, I use paint.net for the blurring -- https://www.getpaint.net/ It's pretty easy -- from the Toolbar, choose Rectangle Select (or one of the other Selects). Then in the Effects menu, choose Blurs. Another nice feature -- when you save the file, you can set the image quality, which then controls the file size. For all these pictures I saved them at a quality of 25 (out of 100). The files end up maybe 5 times smaller than the original, and the quality is good enough for what we're doing here. I have not downloaded the latest version, so it's possible they've changed things a little.

Well, the Musee d'Arcy (or something like this spelling - pardon my French) is in a former train station in Paris? Thanks for the suggestion re: Paint.net - it looks good.

The sunset photo was taken from the Eiffel Tower. I thought someone might recognize the building in the foreground. In the distance you can make out the Grand Arche (link) among the buildings.
And of course the church is the Sacre Coeur, in Montmarte.

I thought it was the Musee d'Orsay earlier, but I was thinking the answer was a city in Italy given the Mussolini clue. Montmartre put it back in Paris. OK, here is one of the few pictures I have left.

BaardJ, you are definitely on the right course and this is my last picture which I believe offers a clue as to "which one". I mean the name of the largest key closest to here - not the tiny island with the wrecks.

The North sound is a beautiful part of the island this resort is on ... this visit was a sad one , two months after hurricane Irma decimated our home away from home

This picture is remnants of one of the buildings blown apart at Fishers Cove on Virgin Gorda ...that visit was a surreal experience. Local friends described the aftermath of Irma like hell on earth. It was like an atomic bomb went off . Not a leaf left on any tree .....here are a few more from that very sad trip ...imagine ships ashore on the rocks and sailboats laid to rest on white sand beaches ?.it was all mind blowing You can see that one of them is blondie starting the rebuild of hog heaven...
Kim, thanks for the "reminder" pictures of the destruction of the BVI's. I guess since you disclosed the location, you get to post a new picture for us to guess.

Hint 1 - What the girl in the statue is doing is illegal... She is what would be called a Mudlark Here are a couple modern day Mudlarks... and it is still illegal

I'm thinking London. People search the mud along the Thames at low tide for whatever goodies of value that they can find. Got that little tidbit of info while visiting there.

One of the subtle hints were the Sea Gulls sitting on the roof of the building. This town is on the sea. (albeit I have no idea if there are are there are not sea gulls in London - lots of pigeons not sure on sea gulls)
Hint 2: While admiring the statue one turns arounds and looks up. Here is what one would sea

So many towns and cities near the coast in England - I'll just toss out Plymouth? However, I'm more curious why it would be illegal to wander off to the mud flats in low tide? What's wrong with that?

Isn't that ship located in, or near Greenwich? If I recall correctly it's the Cutty Sark. Been a while since we were there.
No Fran, it's HMS Victory, Nelson's flagship, in Portsmouth. Cutty Sark is a merchant ship (Tea Clipper). Tom's earlier photo is a building called The Spinnaker, also in Portsmouth.
Mike is correct - Portsmouth is the home of the statue. If you are interested in Naval History put this city on your list. Lots to do and day trip over to Isle of Wight is a must.
As for the Mudlarking here is the rest of the story

Not on St. Vincent. Here's another picture, taken from the same location but pointed at my beer The smiling bloke is a fellow sailor with a Jeanneau 49DS.
The next picture will absolutely, positively and unequivocally give it away.

On St Barths? Not me, as I really don't know it at all. Actually only been to St. Barths twice, quite a while ago. Hopefully someone else can guess the actual beach. I don't have a picture anyway.

St. Barths is a small island I once paid for some espresso and croissants at a cafe across from the "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and wondered if I'd need to put a mortgage on my boat...

Only beach I know of on St Barts is St Jean and that's only because I watch the airport webcam there. Since that doesn't describe what the beach is made of I know it's not the one.
