There have been a lot of discussion about the need for cash, preference for cash over credit cards, etc., but I have a different question.
Is there any problem locally with larger denomination bills such a $50 or $100? I don't plan to pay for a pack of gum with a hundred dollar bill but was wondering if the larger bills might create problems other than making change for them.

No problem at all. Much easier to use $100 bills here than in the U.S. Once again, the #1 go to guy for BVI info comes through. Thanks Jason! Taking $100 bills is far less bulky than a bunch of $20 bills.
