This "could" resolve a lot of problems with power to the island as well as create a lot of new jobs! My concern is, what about spillage???

LNG does not spill. LNG ships transport liquid natural gas at very cold temperatures and high pressure. I'm not saying there is no danger but it is different than oil in many many ways.
