Unless you have been under a rock the past few years obviously covid and staff issues is a huge problem even on SXM. And a very busy and crowded high season makes it even worse. To. me as long has the food is still good , I'd recommend just be happy you got a table , sit down, relax enjoy the view and the weather be thankful and enjoy island time service. Sure great service and food is nice but It's still a vacation to us, not a race. From what I have seen and read... Almost every Restaurant and Bar on SXM is having issues with providing decent service and experienced staff.
