We are heading back home in a couple of weeks.

We have been using Kenny's car rental for over a decade but they are sold out.

Can anyone provide a recommendation for a good company that will meet us at the airport with the paperwork and allow us to be on our way without an office visit?

Thanks in advance!

Did you try any of the other sponsors here! Our friends booked with one of them and actually got a much better price than we did, but they do have to hop on the bus, Gus, and go to their office to pick up their car. No airport delivery. I think they ended up booking with Empress?

Respectfully,

I would also ask Leslie at Kenny's who he recommends. As with most businesses, he likely has a "buddy" system to recommend and keep a regular customer happy.

i am surprised that Leslie didn't already set her up with someone else when he told them they were sold out. Good customer service is when the customer doesn't have to ask.

Ed,

I don't know if this is the case or not, but given that Lesley is already sold out for the time span the client wants, perhaps the guy he usually works with is, too. We had to use the alternate once for the same reasons, and honestly, beyond having a charge from a different agency, we never saw a difference. Lesley still met us at the airport and made the intro, and he was there at the end, too. If Lesley makes the recommendation, I'm sure it will be a good company to deal with as I'm sure Lesley doesn't want his clients to be disappointed twice.

I like Leisure Car Rental a sponsor here. Airport pickup and you drop off at their location near the end of the airport runway.

I thought most, if not all meet you had the airport and dropped you off at their location.
Are there any that can bring the car to the airport anymore? I thought not, but if there is a company that does would love to know which one.

Thanks Pat for the kind words. We made a new Web Site this ( our Daughter Kenya did it and it's her name 'Kennys") and since that we are a lot of requests , hence my loyal people have to contact me way ahead of time and not the last minute. Regards,Lesley.

Leisure meets you at the airport with a car. You leave the airport after simple paperwork with your car. On return you drop off the car very close to the airport...........

we use no-no

reasonably priced - meets you at airport - takes you to your rental and drops the car off there - will pick up on departure day and take you to airport -

we are white knuckle fliers and usually in no shape to drive when we arrive

Love AVIS, have used them 14 years straight, always get upgraded to a much better quality car than I reserve with a severely discounted rate. Loyalty and making friends with the employees helps greatly as well as the hefty tip.

Automax will deliver and pick up the car at the airport. 2 minutes of paperwork and you are on your way! Unfortunately they no longer advertise on ttol. I will chat with Louis when I see him in April about running an ad!

I used them for the first time last year and was very impressed. They picked me up at the airport in "my" car and took me to their office just a very short way from the airport and right on the way to Divi. Paperwork was quick. During my 3-week stay, I got a flat and they drove all the way to Anse Marcel to fix it. My outbound flight was at 8 AM or so and they opened early just for me and drove me and "my" car to the airport, helping me with my bags. They also were the lowest price of those I checked. Can't say enough good about them.

Thank you for all the recommendations.

We have elected to go with Leisure (TTOL sponsor).

Cheers!

We arrived 10/3 and had made a reservation with Leslie. We waited over an hour in the heat and he never showed up. We had one of the locals call him twice and he said he was coming. Finally went back inside the terminal and rented from Empress which was cheaper and service was great. I emailed him when we returned and his response was "he was busy". His loss, a two week rental.

We used AAA during our last trip this past June and were very pleased. Not only was the price less than what we usually paid, but Alain was very nice. When we arrived at the airport, his usual transport van had just left for his office (only 5 minutes away) with previous arrivals, so he asked another transport friend to take us so we wouldn't have to wait. The office is only 5 minutes away, paperwork was quick and easy, and you are on your way. I thought it would be a big deal because we had always picked our car right up from the airport, but it truly wasn't. Everything was exactly as quoted via email, and the price and efficiency made it well worth it.

Edited to add: just saw that you already made your selection. I'm sure you'll do just fine with Leisure. Enjoy your trip!
