So, it appears the ban is on Baie Long and Plum Baie. Not sure how they can leave Baie Rouge since it is in Terres Basse and they dip into each other.

I did not know that about these beaches or the nearby sewage plant. Plum is now off my to do list.

Is this the only treatment plant on the island ? Anyone know to what level they treat the sewage before Flushing it into the ocean?

Sailing Lake Ontario's waterfront I don't even have to look at the charts to see where the treatment plants discharge....just look for the gulls and cormorants feasting on the water's surface.

A lot of day cat trips stop in front of la samanna for quick jump off the boat and swim.

The sewage plant is on the western point of the island, between Plum Bay and Long Bay, Bay Rouge is around the corner to the North and East. The ocean current runs East to West. This plant services the residential French Lowlands.
