Thanks for the information

They are the ones doing the testing at OBBR. The people that were tested yesterday morning received their PCR results this afternoon. Cost was $75 (cash) or $70 if you went to their test center. Not aware of any issues.

Went to Bellevue Pharmacy in Marigot. Rapid test results in 15 minutes. Very fast. They open at 8 but start testing at 9. Cost 46 dollars pp. Flew home yesterday and no problem at airport. Very few people there.

Curious as to why you tested twice; were you exposed to an infected person?

Wow. That certainly makes sense. At least it's easier to accomplish on the way home. If that were to happen on the way down, it would pretty much cancel the trip. That was our fear in November. I'm hoping before our next trip that vaccines will be accepted.

Resent studies in Israel are showing that the Pfizer vaccine seems to prevent the spread. Hope that will turn into acceptance of proof of vaccine in lieu of negative test.🤞

With our test experience on the way down I believe the results would have been the same. Less than 24 hour turn around from test to results.

My fear was having the TESTING site closed on the day we scheduled. Snow does that in New England...and then....a LOT of scrambling around

The Project Beacon in New Bedford allows you to set your own times now.

Got tested at Medworks at Plaza Del Sol in Simpson Bay this morning . $70 prepaid using PayPal and registered online . No wait time , less than 10 minutes at the clinic , and results emailed in 45 minutes . The only bad thing is I realize less than 72 hours left in paradise!

Thanks for the post.

Unlike what the SXM government has done, in terms of changing the rules every 5 minutes, and then not communicating the changes quickly, it seems that the private companies are doing a good job with the testing.
