French Fries

We went to Bar Code last evening. I'll do a full report with pictures on Monday, but I wanted to mention that the French Fries were amazing. Obviously hand cut as each was a different size and shape. Depp golden brown. I don't know what they cook them in, but the flavor was on a par with the best I've had on the island!

I have not been to Bar Code, but my favorite french fries on the island are from Chez Leandra on Orient Beach.

Our favorite is Be Cool but then we haven't tried Bar Code. I only eat fries on SXM.

totally different fries. those at Bar Code are thick, and yes, probably hand cut - like steal fries. Be Kool, and also Ma Ti Beach, have my favorites: thin and crispy. They hold the crisp even after they're no longer hot!

I will probably have to try Be Kool, but I prefer my french fries fat!!

OK, OK, by popular demand here's a picture of the Fries, served as a part of their Fish & Chips. I prefer the big thick ones. Get more potato flavor that way.

Ate at Bar Code last night.(in my report). I tried the fries off of my wife's plate, and they were good, but personally i prefer the thinner ones. My dish came with mashed potatoes, and i usually am not a mashed potato lover, but the way they had my ossobucco presented, the mashed was to die for!! So was the entire meal.

They were very good at Grand Case Beach Club, as was everything else.

Ed, we were there a day too soon to sample the Osso Bucco. would have loved that. Love good mashed too. We'll be going back before we leave I'm sure. Love their food.

Ed we are considering dining there this trip. We hear they have music on Wednesday nights. May go for happy hour one night and then decide.

The also have music on Mondays. We've been twice so far and are going again on Monday. If you go be sure to order to Brie Fritters appetizer. The are amazing!
