We're arriving Monday. We've read there is a French side curfew at 8pm for 1 week.
I believe it started this past Monday.
Is this true and is it in effect.

No end date noted. They usually update in two week increments.

COVID-19 / IMPLEMENTATION OF ADDITIONAL MEASURES IN THE FIGHT AGAINST EPIDEMIC
The latest data from Public Health France shows a sharp increase in covid cases in Saint-Martin with 234 cases the previous week and already 153 new confirmed cases since Monday, August 9
Louis Constant Fleming Hospital is now hosting 23 patients ages 16 The White Plan has been triggered: The hospital has deprogrammed all the planned acts to be able to accommodate more covid patients. Three anesthetic nurses arrived yesterday from the metropolis as reinforcements.
In Saint-Barthélemy the situation stabilizes, with 89 cases during the week of August 2th to 8th and a positivity rate of 5 % closer to the threshold of alertness. However, caution must remain in place since 5 people are currently being hospitalized.
Since the health situation in Guadeloupe and Martinique has been deteriorating for several weeks and our hospital system cannot cope alone, the Prefect of Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin has decided to introduce additional measures to stop the spread of the virus on our islands.
New curfew timetables in the North Islands
The curfew is advanced starting Friday, August 13:
• from 20 am to 3 am in Saint-Martin;
• from 21 am to 4 am in Saint-Barthélemy.
Travel of people is strictly prohibited between these hours.

The curfew on St Barth has been tightened. As of 3 days ago, it is now 8PM to 3AM for both St Martin and St Barth.
