C/O Hotel in Tulum

C/O Hotel in Tulum - 06/22/2019 05:39 PM

A few months ago I was searching for a C/O hotel in Mexico and came across a small hotel beachfront in Tulum. Now that I am looking again I can't find it. I don't recall if I was searching on one of the sites like Booking.com, Air BnB or other. It wasn't Azulik or, in the city Intima. Is anyone familiar with such a resort?

Cabanas Copal

Maybe you would be interested in www.playasonrisa.net a bit further down the coast.

Thanks for the info. I will check out Playa Sonrisa more. It does sound a little remote, which I don't particularly mind, bit not too thrilled about the long drive.

Too bad about Cabanas Copal. It seemed like an ideal location.

We did stay at Azulik a couple of years ago. It has a nude beach and we were nude on the balcony of the room. Azulik can be ridiculously expensive for what you get, but if you keep an eye out, it appears on Sky Auction every now and then and you can get a room for about $80 per night. It's not one of the fancy rooms and there's no ocean view, but the jungle view was very nice and we had a great time.

Intima is a great resort. I've stayed there before. I'm starting to plan a new trip to the Tulum area and was hoping to find the small beachfront place. I'm sure I will go back to Intima if nothing else C/O shows up. I love it there the only problem is that it is in the middle of town. Other than that, nothing but good things to say about the place.
