Getting to Anegada on a Thursday

Hello all.

My husband and I are looking to go to Anegada from STT on Thursday, October 29th. I have contacted Cleo from Ace Charters to see if he can get us there at a reasonable rate. Other than Cleo, do you have any suggestions? I know that we can ferry to Tortola and then fly/ferry over the next morning, but would rather get there sooner rather than later.

We've taken Island Birds from EIS many times. It's a charter, so it's more expensive but very convenient.

You might want to check with Capital Air. I haven't used them, but they have day trips to Anegada during the season.

Sorry, I don't think I read your post completely. If you're not looking to day trip, Ace is probably your best bet. I use them several times a year and they remain the most cost effective way to get from STT to Anegada.

Jason, what is the best way to get in touch with Cleo? I can't book the rest of our trip until I find out if we can get to NGD Thursday vs. Friday.

does VI Airlink fly to Anegada on a thursday?? Thought just mon, wed & fri....hoping they do, let us know

They fly Tortola to Anegada Mon,Wed, Fri but St Thomas to Anegada any day of the week I have used them on a Tuesday and Thursday making that flight.

This ties into a question I had as well. I called them and tried to make a reservation for a EIS-ANEGADA RT in November, leaving EIS on a Saturday and returning on a Thursday. The woman told me she couldn't make that reservation over the phone but if there was a flight offered on their website that I could book it that way. So that's what I did......but now I am wondering if this is a phantom flight or if they will run a flight if enough people book it? Any insight as to what they are doing here? I think it's time for another phone call or email.....

Great to hear VI Airlink will fly anyday from STT to Anegada, they are a little hard to deal with, kind of vague when talking to them & their web site not always working, but love using thier flights, we noticed they won't book far ahead, maybe 2 months before which makes it hard to make decisions sometimes, also don't get nervous when you get to the airport & they are not there yet...we have experienced all this..but will use them again ! Once the flights got closer we got emails & phone calls from them so all is good !

I just wanted to follow up on this post. I did contact VI Airlink to make sure that the online bookings were for "good" flights (since they are not on their normal Anegada flight days) and did receive confirmation from Vina at VI Airlink. So I am not sure if they are running other days if they get enough interest or what. As cool as it may sound, I just didn't want to get stranded on Anegada and not be able to conect with the rest of our flights when we go to head home.

And FYI, 2 RT tickets on non normal flight days were about $300 US total

so just making sure I understand your post about VI airlink on non normal days, your flights are gonna happen on a Thursday???
