Looking for a nice restaurant in Roadtown - 03/20/2017 04:39 PM

We are chartering a couple of sailboats from Moorings and are looking for a nice restaurant for 15 people for the evening start on June 13. Any suggestions for a nice restaurant in Roadtown?

Not in Roadtown but Bananakeet is one of our favorite places. Good food with a great view. Its just a cab ride away

Cabernet is great too. Just a few steps away from Pussers. Brisket, ribs, fish. Something for everyone.

Charlie's right on the Moorings dock is excellent. It's not cheap but you will be ahead after cab costs.

We usually go to Charlie's, but my wife wanted something different this time.

After a long day of sitting in airports, airplanes and a ferry, we found we like to walk to Capriccio De Mare for our dinner. Can't say it is outstanding but is has been consistently good the last 8 or 10 years.
Charlies at the Mooring's/Sunsail base is OK but I prefer to eat at the bar just south of Charlies, (Sorry can't remember the name of that bar at the base).

Enjoy your vacation.

We ate at Maria's by the Sea after several nearby shop owners recommended it. All 4 felt dinner was nice.

If you don't mind a moderate taxi ride and want a "nice restaurant" I would suggest Brandywine.. Truly fine dining and reasonable for the food and service. Very good start to your charter and fine dining....though I haven't been there since this time last year it was superb for our crew and was the summer before. With the dove not operating, there is really nothing in its class closer Imo. A great way to start your trip.!

Totally agree on "Brandywine" if you don't mind a 15/20 min cab ride..terrific food, service and atmosphere..

We always take a short cab ride to The Pub. Excellent food at reasonable prices. I especially like their pasta dishes. They are right on the water and have outdoor seating.
