Seems to have been downgraded now..still good to watch it.

A mere 2 hours ago everything looked rosy with little development forecast, now there's a 70% chance of tropical storm formation in the next 48 hours and interests in the BVI and USVI are being told to prepare for heavy rain and winds.

Looks like there's a pretty good amount of dust coming behind both systems.

National Hurricane Center 8 AM advisory

has tropical storm warnings issued for Puerto Rico and the USVI, but nothing for the BVI. Still, a good day to hunker down somewhere!

Starting to get a few squalls and wind gusts here. Not really expecting much to come out of this. Looks like it's going to be too far south to impact Tortola much.

Overcast all day. A few heavy showers and wind gusts. Nothing much to speak of but the cooler weather is a nice change.
