Tim,

We will also be on a 433 June 14th (maybe 13th) through the 24th. We will be flying an ECU Pirates flag (purple, black, and yellow). Hope to see you or any others that will be down. With this said, this is only our 2nd year. Do you have to do this for a certain number of years before you veterans will talk to us?

We hit the water May 27th. This trip has a crew of 5 newbies so depending on weather, we plan on a basic trip io introduce the BVI to our crew. Sunday, Wreck of the Rhome with rest of the day at Cooper Island. Monday the Baths and Leverick Bay (missing the Poker Run). Tuesday, the Dogs followed by Cane Garden Bay and a visit to my favorite rum distillery Callwood. Wednesday morning, the Bubby Pool, followed by grabbing a mooring ball in Great Harbor, dingy over to White Bay for lunch, Thursday, Norman, Friday mooring the Indians and lunch at West End, returning to Sea Crow Bay late Friday for laundry, stowing gear followed by ferry back to St Thomas on Saturday. Kim, let me know where you plan on being and we can adjust our itinerary to hook up sometime. Can't wait to be back again. Keep an eye out for our Leopard, Island Fun flying The Ohio State University flag.

Steve, welcome to TTOL. Our group #8 onboard "Janica" May 20-28. We love this forum, and enjoy the many questions and comments. Sometimes no one replies, that's ok, sometimes it's better than the alternative. All of the folks on here have great personalities, enjoy humor and competition. I guess you have to get into "de islon kinna mind" when visiting the site! We all love these islands and the people whom live and visit here. Kick back, relax and smoke um if u got um! We will have an Army Flag and an OSU flag a flyin, with lots of rum come say hi.

Re: May dates - 05/07/2017 08:19 PM

Yea I know the pokerrun is Sunday. Planning so we should be out of the way for the 11 am start. The poker run is a great fund raiser for the area that Nick and Monica have established. Sometime when we're down by ourselves I'd luv to volunteer but on this trip I want to show off the beauty of the BVI to our newbies.

Re: OMG. ALMOST THERE - 05/08/2017 01:28 PM

I looked at the extended weather forecast for when we arrive on the 19th...shows rain the 1st 4 days. Sure hope its like Florida weather...shows rain but that lasts for 10 minutes and moves out.

Re: OMG. ALMOST THERE - 05/09/2017 04:04 AM

Bagsarepacked, let's start the positive waves for the weather now!!! No "negative waves Moriorty". Checking Soggy webcam daily, been pretty windy, rainy almost daily. I know most here are all about the wind, but it's ok if it dries out for the next 4 weeks, we won't mind

Relax! The weather forecast is completely useless more than 4 days out and mostly useless more than 2 days out!

Re: OMG. ALMOST THERE - 05/09/2017 03:22 PM

Positive vibes coming! We have had such horrible weather at home we are hoping for sun. Passing showers we can live with...what is that saying...everyday a little rain must fall....5 minutes works in my book! Either way will be a great trip but sunny is best
We are there on Sundowner 5/20-27th...hope to run into anyone who is around. I think I may need to bring a flag!

Re: May dates - 05/10/2017 06:15 AM

We hit the water May 27th, same as Jagmansr. This trip has a crew of 6--all of us have done this before!! We also plan on a pretty basic trip. Sunday, check out boat and head to Cooper Island. Monday the Baths and Leverick Bay or Bitter End/Saba Rock. Tuesday and Wednesday, Anegada. Thursday will be White Bay, Jost. Then Cane Garden Bay on Friday and Norman on Saturday before turning boat in on Sunday. We will be on "island time" so this is all subject to change.
We will be on a Sunsail 444 (Cat), and will have a Texas Flag flying......maybe more flags if we can decide which ones to fly (Have reps from Texas Tech, Auburn, Texas A&M, University of Cincinnati, and FIT)!!! Come on over for a drink if you see us---we would love to see some TTOLers!!

I think you should fly a different college flag every day.
