At what age did you discover Orient Beach (C/O)

I was wondering at what age you might have discovered Orient Beach. Growing up, my mother had trouble keeping clothes on me, saying that I was a closet nudist. I was always swimming nude in the pool or river. When I discovered Orient Beach in my mid-30s it was like becoming a child again. I only wish I had discovered it 10 years earlier. Has anyone had a similar experience?

stayed at the hotel on "baby beach" that's now just ruins.(Forgot the name) walked down a cow path and discovered "Eden".

Traveled to St. Martin in 2001 with friends. Was 57 at the time and two years removed from retiring as a teacher. Just had to make a visit to Orient Beach after hearing about the place and was hooked. My wife and I have traveled every year since and some times twice a year to the island. Will soon return for 3 weeks and can see the orange chairs and yellow umbrellas in my dreams already.

The Mrs and I had our first nude beach experience on our honeymoon in Jamaica. I was 29 and she 26. Knew about Orient but kept going to Hedonism annually for 10 years or so. Was nervous about Club O as it isn't adults only. I think we went for the first time when I was 43 and she 40. We acclimated to the differences pretty quickly. I don't think we will stay there as we learned in Jamaica that not having clothes on sort of trumps our motivation to go see and experience all the cool things where we need to where clothes.

57-Been to Orient each year since-9 years

We found Orient Beach in 1987. All I remember seeing there were trees, sand and water. Was not aware of Club O and only saw one other person on the beach there.

We discovered the c/o thing on Saline Beach on St Barts.

We were both 40 when we discovered the joy of being naked at the beach. Go natural or don't go.

I was 41, we chose St. Martin for our honeymoon, knowing nothing about Club Orient at the time.

My first trip to Club O was 1999, my 21st birthday. My now husband and I were visiting St. Martin for the first time, on a cruise.

In our twenties while on our honeymoon and going back nearly every year for the last 25 years. But unfortunately as naturist opertunities on St Martin keep diminishing our return visits will as well.

For me it was 1973 and Orient was nothing but a beach back then. Most beaches were more or less clothing optional in those days. Except for hotel beaches of course. We used to wear nothing but our birthday suits on Cupecoy, Long, Plum, Rouge, Friars, Le Galion and, of course, Orient. It was a different time and a different island obviously. It's changed today but still beautiful and still feels like home.

I wasn't aware that naturist opportunities were declining on Orient, but I haven't been going as long as you have. Do you have any detail?

My wife and I discovered Orient in 2011 while on a cruise.
We were 50 at the time. Returned in 2012 for 10 days, 2013 for 2 weeks and will arrive this week for our 3rd stay.
It's the best C/O beach we've found.

We were hooked on the freedom and we have never looked back!

I was 42 and my bride was 40. We have also gone back yearly. Wish somehow we had stumbled onto Club O's stretch of beach a decade earlier. Oh well, . . .

My wife and I discovered the nude beaches of SXM in 1983. All that existed on Orient was Pedros and Club O. The rest of the beach was white sand and sea grapes. You could walk nude the entire beach w/o any issues. WE never saw the Gendarmes in those days except for downtown Marigot. Most other non-hotel beaches were the same - no one seemed to care, except some of the villa owners on Long Bai who would post no nudity signs. Some time in the late 1980s a tax incentive on the French side brought a boom in hotels and the beach bars on Orient. Then things changed - more crime and more gendarmes. Cupecoy has still remains so far as the best nude beach,particularly when the currnets bring in the sand.

age 36 in 1986 with 2nd wife. bought a villa in orient baie in 2006 and still going back on a regular basis with 3rd and final wife.

Three's a charm. We were 54, never looked back.

I was 27 and my wife was 26 when we first visited Orient Beach 20 years ago. Heading back there this June - July. Maybe we will see some of you there.
