Has anyone eaten here? It looked quite busy last night.

Like Yogi Berra said " It's so crowded nobody goes there anymore". <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />

I'm not familiar with this restaurant either so wondering 'where' in Maho it's located and what type of place it is - breakfast, lunch, dinner? - as well as the vibes - casual, up-scale, Classic French? Any thoughts from those who have tried it? TY in advance......

Where is this exactly? I don't remember seeing it the end of December.

Isn't it amazing that on this tiny island there are so many restaurants that it's impossible to keep up?

It is located where Fusion was for a while, below Bajatzu.

Thanks, Walt. Don't know how I've missed it but will hopefully check it out in April. Any recommendations food-wise?

And nice to see you posting - you know we've missed you and wish you well. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

I cannot comment on the food, but it is an up-scale restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining and looked quite busy in the evening.

OK, I'm confused, I need to look at my pictures from December, as I thought that Tex Mex place was below Bajatzu..

i think if its where fusion was..its on the first level...actually over to the right from bajatsu....towards the subway shop nearer to the end...by the stairs going up to the second level.

Carol,

The TexMex place is where you thought, more or less on the corner by the escalator on the lower level in the space that once was Paris Bistro.

I also have no recollection of any restaurants of that nature between the stairs and Subway but sadly, that means nothing. Unless we ate there and really enjoyed it, it probably wouldn't ring any bells with me.

And thank you, Walt and Ed, for trying to pinpoint it for the more directionally challenged among us. I will definitely check it out next time we're on the island. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Le Petit Paris is next to the parking garage 2nd level entrance, (beneath Sopranos Piano Bar). Opposite the restaurant (and that parking entrance) is where the jewelry store was. The restaurant opened a little over a month ago. Hope this helps.

I was excited to see 13 replies to my question. However, it appears as though no one has eaten there yet.

TY. Bianca.

Hoping buffonthebeach tries it and can be the first to publicly review it here. It's always nice to hear about new places........ <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Sorry, everyone's always excited with a new place, but maybe you'll have to be the first here to try it!

We have been there 2 times in the last 3 weeks and the food is really good, service needs some work. The waiter really is doing his best and if things are a little slow he was right there to say sorry. The girl that is working with him seems to be lost. Give it a try and enjoy <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

We ate there on Monday. The food and service was excellent... Seared tuna, Sole and the tenderloin steak... Mmmmm!!

Service was very poor..only the manager seemed to know what he was doing. Rack of lamb was good, the lamb plancha tasted like it had been heated and re-heated several times. Potatoes were cold. Dessert looked like it came straight out of a box.

We tried it the other night. They have some kinks to work out. Moulin Fou is still our top choice in Maho. We had an awesome meal there last week.

Was this restaurant previously located in Marigot? I seem to remember the name or one similar located elsewhere.

Besides Paris Bistro formerly at sidewalk level in Maho, a few years ago there was a place, briefly, in the Caravanserai property, that had 'Paris' in its name. It was very good and bery picturesque at the water's edge, but sadly, it, too, fell victim to one of the many storms that swept through there and it never reopened. Could this be what you're thinking of? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
