Can't remember the name of the place, but it is the one along the railing where you can watch the people on the beach and watch the sunset. We believe that all of them are about the same, so if we decide to eat that type of meal we at least want to get a good view while we eat it.

We agree...all the way back to the water and on the right as you face Anguilla. Looks like we have two threads here on the same subject...let's merge them into one...

Love the Lolos. But I do agree with some previous posts. They all have the same food on the same kind of grills. No difference. So, we prefer the one by the water with an amazing view and a bit of a breeze. It's called Rib Shacks.

Agree with those three...we mostly go to Talk of the Town but Scoobies definitely has the best presentation of the lolo's

Scoobies; well presented, great taste and being nearer the water the wind blows the flies away to the front vendors.

Yes! Rib Shack is the one we enjoyed the most because of the waterfront table, great food, and fast, polite service! Plus we had the quiet lapping of the waves underlying our quiet conversations rather than the roar of motorcycles, the sounds of car traffic, and the Din of several dozen loud conversations pounding on our ears like at the streetside establishments... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

Doesn't anybody talk and have conversations at the Rib Shack? I doubt that the only places that do are the street side Lolos. I understand the traffic noise but loud conversations I don't think are isolated to those vendors.

No, the people don't talk back there. It believe it is a no talking zone! Just great views, quiet waves and people looking at their cell phones.

Sounds like people back home. No need to talk to the person next to you, just text them. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Doesn't that bug the crap out of you. My grandkids visit and sit in the living room with their mom and dad and all of them are looking at their phones the whole time. Were we like that? No, since there weren't smartphones when we were young. We now have a basket at the door that we tell them to drop the phones in when they get to the house. At times they forget, but we don't!!

Of course they/we do! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

My point was that back by the water those conversations can be carried on at a normal speaking voice instead of having to shout at each other because of the very high audio volume from everyone else around you also trying to be heard above all the others doing the same thing at the same time... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

To us it is just a more relaxing way to enjoy dinner... Your mileage may vary... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

" We now have a basket at the door that we tell them to drop the phones in when they get to the house."
I love that idea. Kids and some adults have lost the skill of verbal communication and proper grammar because of all this technology let alone social skills and etiquette.

I am solidly the age to be doing all this texting garbage but I don't. Maybe it's because I am in sales and love the art of conversation. It drives me nuts
