Longevity? Mine doesn't last long enough to go bad. It is a popular beverage around my home

When you run out send me a PM and I will send you a recipe for a very close replica you can make at home. I have three Mason jars of my homemade orange-vanilla sitting in my pantry now.
I suppose it may depend on what variety it is, but I don't really think that's a problem, it going bad at room temp. We normally buy banana vanilla and we had one bottle that stayed around for something over a year, and not only did it not go bad, it was AMAZING. Really smooth.
I thought the banana vanilla lost some of it's flavor after awhile, like 1-2 years. (Yeah, we brought a lot back one time!) But no, it doesn't technically go "bad". It's alcohol after all!
Bill S..tried to send you a PM and got reply "cannot find user Bill S". Do you owe Carol money?? Wanted to know if you'll share your recipe..thanks jimnjudy
Along the lines of making your own. We discovered on this year's visit to SXM that Rhum agricole (de la Guadeloupe) is available in 3 liter boxes and larger! (You can even buy it at the Petit Casino in Orient). We couldn't resist bringing one back. The homemade Ma Doudou recipe could be just the ticket for using our excess of rum.
