EOTS,

You might want to add a few more details to this post. What are you hoping to charter and from where to where and when? If an on-island boat charter, all day or half day? Textile or clothing optional? People might be more apt to jump in if they knew these answers.

We did the Eco Tour all day sail around the island twice.

Sailed out of P'berg around Pt. Blanche to the back side of the island where our first stop was Tintamarre Island area. You could swim or snorkel here for about an hour.

On to Creole Rock and ultimately Grande Case and a quick snorkel stop off shore there and ultimately on to Calmos Cafe for a great lunch.

Back on the boat and sailed down the coast in the Anguilla channel past Marigot and ultimately stopping once more on Baie Longue just off shore from LaSamanna where they allowed snorkel and swim time and served their floating bar drinks.

Eventually sailed down past the Cupecoy Cliffs and Mullet Bay and through the Maho Bay airport landing path just as a plane was coming in overhead, which was fun.

We ultimately sailed past Burgeaux Bay and Simpson Bay where we went past one of the private luxury yachts in the world (which made our generously sized cat feel like a tiny raft in comparison...) and then headed back into Philipsburg where we were offered their parting champagne punch.

The first year we did it there were only about twenty on board and the cat was rated for 60+ passengers and it was a totally incredible day. The second time was fun, too, but you know what they say about going back.......

I don't remember for sure but I think it was about $105.00 pp and included everything from hotel pick-up and drop-off to lunch and liquid refreshments all day. The only add-on was a gratuity for the crew, and based on what I saw being given, I was shocked at how generous people were NOT, for what was a lovely day with great attention paid in every way.

UWe booked this through our activity desk and it was a lovely day but definitely NOT a true booze cruise. Drinks were plentiful but the crew was fairly mindful of everyone's comfort.

I think it's the stop at Tintamarre that controls the size of the group - something about only so many guests to the island because it's part of the nature preserve and/or perhaps an additional tariff is charged to the tour company if they exceed the allowed number, but I could be mistaken about that last.

We also have done the Passaat a few times and I would highly recommend any of there trips depending on what you most want to do. The lunch and dinner sails are great and their sunset wine sail is lovely, too, and particularly so on a clear night with a big moon out. There's something incredibly sexy about sailing across the water under the stars with the only sounds being the boat cutting through the water and the ropes with their metal clasps clinking against the masts. Just not so sure about this one for kids......

I would highly recommend him and we have chartered so many years (14) He will start off as the captain but will be your friend by the end of the charter..includes drinks and food you can snorkle, fish, whatever you would like to do . We are going back in November and again will charter with Ian.. will do a day over to anquilla..
