Those people trying to stop you on the hill AT Oyster Pond are a real pain in the you know what. Once I see them trying to stop me, I just keep on going and wave in my rear view mirror.

I don't blame the people living there to be getting ticked off. We're just a couple of weeks back from a really nice stay at OBBR. The timeshare crowd was out in full swing though. They seemed to have gotten more aggressive than I recall from earlier trips. Also, when you call them out on the scratch ticket scam, they got downright belligerent and nasty. They really should do something about them.

The working papers angle may be the downfall of the practice. I suspect I would not be too thrilled to have people loitering in my driveway 7 days per week either.

I agree with all the complaints. Many, many times when we drive home from the beach they have stopped cars right on the brow of the hill and it is VERY dangerous trying to pass them as you cannot see cars coming up the hill. We never stop for the sales pitch, just wave as we pass by and often we get "the finger". <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cloud.gif" alt="" />

Another bad location is Terres Basses!! Our friend "Gunny" stopped for what looked like a young couple in distress, only to have a couple or so guys come out from the "woods" to hold them up!!! Unfortunately for them HE was carrying his service weapon!!! That ended that!!! Not retired at that point from HS/ATF/TSA!!! Former Marine. I will not stop for anyone, unless I know them!! You just never know!!!

That probably happened quite a while ago as opposed to recently, right? (I hope!) Clearly they weren't interested in selling timeshares!
