Should Trump get elected and he decided to use his property in sxm as his summer white house,instead of miralago,what would the impact be on the Island and we vacationers?
Would Air Force one's arrival divert my flight,or cancel it?
Would his motorcade tie up trafic? Would my Timeshare be more valuable? Would he rename Mullett Bay golf course,Trump Bay Golf course? Just a thought.... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />

Trump has dozens of properties everywhere so I'm not sure SXM has a higher probability of being visited than the others.

I wouldn't worry too much about any potential Trump impact. We've had it on fairly decent authority he looked at the course once but supposedly wasn't remotely interested in Mullet Bay property to become another Trump course, just for starters. Supposedly, too big a price tag when one considered all the island issues - dealing with ineffectual governments and all that go with them. And the other stuff....well, we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm not letting a 'possible?' Ha, I personally asked him several years ago about the rumor of him buying Mullet, as my mom said, he said flat out government to hard to deal with!!! We had a meeting with him prior to him buying Trump National Hudson Valley, when it was Branton Woods. One hell of a party he put on!!

As for POTUS or VPOTUS visits Charleston gets them all the time and it does tie up traffic and is an unwanted inconvenience but I bet SXM would not pass muster since Air Force One usually lands at military bases, does it not?
