Le Belle Epoque

Is there any truth to the rumor that Le Belle Epoque has closed? I've heard from a friend who is on island that it is closed for good, not just for the September holiday. Please say it isn't so!

Anyone know the answer?

Please say NO for we love the restaurant and their Shrimp PIZZA and Escargot .

"CETTE FOIS ....C'EST FINI !!!"

Automatic translator translated that to:

"This time....C' is finished!!!"

That sounds like a permanent closure to me.

Too Bad...Have many good memories of that place.

Same here, we loved having lunch there. Our favorite pizza and salad place, always friendly service. We'll miss it.

I just read a post on Trip Advisor on a review of Le Belle Epoque on 11/9/15....So looks like they are open.

Walked by it a couple weeks ago and it definitely looked closed for good.

That's the problem with a lot of TA reviews--they are often posted MANY months after the person visited the establishment.

Once you are a member, they pretty much hound you for reviews.

I think they are ok for hotel reviews but don't put a lot of faith in some of the restaurant reviews.

La belle epoque is closed. The owner of la croissanterie says they've been trying to find a buyer but nothing yet.
