Anyone book with Canada Stays?

Anyone book with Canada Stays? - 10/21/2015 02:52 AM

I'm familiar with booking condos I've found on vbro or homeaway, but I've found one on homeaway and when I request price quote it gives me a quote from Canada stays for $1382 US ( total with tax and fees) for 6 nights, but the price listed in the description of the condos states that the weekly low season rate is $2500 plus tax and fees. I did email the owner for clarification, so waiting for answer. I just wondered if anyone was familiar with this. I'm afraid it's too good to be true- lol.

CanadaStays web site says they are affiliated with HomeAway... Just make sure the quote isn't for a cottage in St. Martins, New Brunswick! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Canada Stays is essentially the homeaway of Canada. I would verify their rates. They tend to experience glitches with their listings. Homeaway will take the rates off Canada stays and apply a currency exchange converting it from Canadian Dollars to US Dollars when in fact certain listings are already listed in US Dollars. In essence, they are inaccurately discounting rates. Check with the listing owner for accurate rates.

Thanks everyone. Still waiting on a reply from owner. I think the site has incorrectly converted the price that was supposed to be in US $ to begin with. Anytime I've booked from a vbro listing, the price has been right on. So, I was surprised by the discrepancy.

Getting excited about planning my 3rd visit to st maarten. After a day trip to Anguilla last year, I'm trying to convince my husband we need to spend a few nights in Anguilla before our week in st maarten. &#128525;
