The Bungalows are on the hill above Orient, roughly above LaPlantation.

Are they called Bruno's Bungalow's? Do they have a website?

They actually are called O Paradis or Paradise Bungalows. web page

The price for the bungalows is pretty reasonable. It would be nice if they had better photos with titles on their site since they have a few places. jmho.

I tried to post photos here of the view from the bungalows but it wouldn't let me. Have stayed twice and will be there next month. Can't wait.

Photos have to be somewhere on the net, and then you can use the IMAGE tag. If the photo is small enough, you can upload it to the SXM picture forum, and then use the IMAGE tag from there.

I've uploaded from Photobucket recently onto the TTOL main SXM pages. But it wouldn't work here. Tried five times.

Sorry, there's no difference between the settings between People Talk and the regular forum, as far as I know. This thread probably belongs in the regular forum anyway, so will move it there.

When going in the main entrance to Orient Beach, make the very first right. Go until you see the first street on your left and instead make a right into Bruno and Geri's parking lot right by the pool!

Two of the bungalows are one bedroom, while the other two have a second loft bedroom upstairs. The two bedroom bungalows have full kitchens while the one bedrooms have a small refrigerator and stove top. We've stayed in each one and they are decorated a bit different but otherwise configured the same. I have photos on Photobucket I will try to upload later.

Three of the bungalows porches/decks open so you can walk directly to the pool. The first bungalow closest to the drive way does not have a latch to open a gate to walk directly to the pool. You have to go out your front door and take a short walk around the outside to the pool.

Bruno also has a small bbq to use and provides towels and maid service. I don't recall if it is daily? He is available via phone call or walking up the driveway to his house if you need anything. Bruno and his wife Geraldine are very helpful.

I'm happy to say that the 2 one bedroom bungalows have now a big refrigerator on their porch/deck !
And all four bungalows have a door on the porch so you can walk directly to the pool, even the first one ! I know because I've stayed in this one several times !

Good to know about all the decks opening up to the area where you can walk directly to the pool. Bruno had only one full size refrigerator that he left out on the deck for one of the lucky guests in the 1 bedroom. Bruno is great, always upgrading and accommodating.

Has anyone used the pool sunning deck nude?
Is it acceptable?

Re: Bruno's Bungalow's - 04/19/2016 08:03 PM

He hasn't minded in the past, as long as other guests don't mind. Definitely wear a cover up when walking from your unit to the pool and back as the bungalows are in a residential area.

Thirteen days from now we will be in one of Bruno's Bungalows.

Re: Bruno's Bungalow's - 04/20/2016 12:14 AM

We have never had an issue being nude in the pool or on the pool deck. As the above poster mentioned, a cover-up is appropriate while walking to the pool, as the location of the bungalows is in a neighborhood.

..but, as Louise said, please be courteous of the other residents of the bungalows. Make sure it is ok with them.

That is why I said we never had an issue - I guess I should have said we never had an issue with other guests.

Looks like lots of folks have stayed and enjoyed this place.
Just curious, saw netting on beds, Air Conditioning?

Re: Bruno's Bungalow's - 06/25/2016 09:21 PM

The netting is just kind of decoration. The units are fully air conditioned.
