We have done so at many different places on the island.

I am not sure that the Sonesta resorts allow that. Think I read sometime back that only guests could use the facilities. Could be wrong though. Check with your resort.

Probably the safest thing is for the OP to ask the specific resort in question. I know the Towers would have no problem with it assuming you're talking about another 2-4 people, but at the same time, if you're talking about hosting a pool party - that would be an altogether different issue. I think it would probably be based on the facilities available and the number of guests involved. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Yes, it would help to know the resort but at SBR they have no issue with guests visiting if brought in by those in the room. Getting by security with a visitor car might be interesting though

OK I checked with the resort which is Mary Boon's. The manager said no problem with the beach. However <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" /> the pool is for guest only.

More than reasonable, IMO, since the pool is tiny. Very nicely situated, but very tiny! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

When we were at Mary's Boon last November, the sign at the pool stated that day guests--paying type folks at the beach--were not allowed use of the pool, but registered guests were allowed 2 guests.
I don't know if they changed policy, or just misunderstood your question.

There are as many replies as there are resorts.

No problem at flamingo either.
