Divi wifi

Divi wifi - 02/08/2016 10:45 PM

We will be heading down this weekend after swapping our regular November week at Divi for February. Last time we were there they had discontinued the separate charge for the room wifi (good!) but wifi speeds were noticeably slower (not so good!) I use google voice on my laptop to keep up with things at home and retrieve voice mail, so slow wifi can be a problem. Any of you Divi owners out there used it recently?

I was last there in June, and it's slow unless it's the middle of the night or early morning.

WiFi speed can vary anywhere on the island depending on the time of day we found. Sometimes none at all. Just be patient & keep trying different times. But we love island time!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

It also depends on where you are in the resort. On the Great Bay side, they have upgraded the equipment and we were thrilled with the speed. Both husband and I are software developers and I manage a few networks and I was able to do it well with the speed I had.
They are working on upgrading the Little Bay side now.

Just there in January. Generally not good, but better in the public areas. This is an area that needs improvement.

Again, it really depends on where you are on the resort. The Great Bay side has had the equipment refurbished and it was VERY VERY good for us in January.

The strange thing was first week studio in beachside villas no internet. Moved next door for 1 bedroom second week and the wifi was working.
