Club O - 03/30/2016 11:51 PM

Will be at Esmeralda end of June but want to try Club O for a day. Do they rent lounges and umbrellas, if so how much? Also, is there a pool you can use? How is the resturant and is it open to the public ? Thank you.

Yes they do rent two lounge chairs and one umbrella for $20.00. The restaurants and the boutique are open to everyone. Be aware that Happy Hour at the Perch is at 2:30...get two drinks for the price of one.
Have a great vacation in the best place in the world...this is subjective of course. WARNING...St. Martin is addictive...you go once and you will be back!

The pool is huge. Goes all the way to St Barths.

I'm not sure their boutique is open to everyone. There is a sign just above the beach that says hotel guests only beyond this point. However if you are parked there I'm not sure and if you go in they often ask do you want this purchase on your room tab.

If you are renting chairs from Club O you can go to the boutique with out any trouble

As a day user I've shopped in the boutique many times. Parking is $5 in their lot and it's a great place to park.

They want anyone to use the boutique, regardless of whether you are staying there or not. And frankly, even if they are charging to park--which they only do in high season--you could probably park for free if you're going into the boutique only.

Warning: Club O can be addictive. And it all starts with that one day chair rental. That's how it started for us 10 years ago. The next year we decided to stay there and have been staying there ever since.

There is no pool, and no parking fee in the off-season, which includes June. There is a path from the beach to the parking lot, which is open to visitors - the path also leads to the boutique. We think the 2 restaurants are excellent - the Perch Bar which is a beach bar, with burgers, hot dogs, chicken, etc. and Papagayo, which has lunch and dinner. Prices are in line with other places in the area. But the dress code is a little more, ah, casual. Happy Hour at the Perch is 2:30 - 3:30; at Papagayo it's 4:30 - 6:30.

Beware that the line for the Perch's happy hour (2:30 - 3:30) starts at about 2:00 PM. We always order twice the number we want so we don't have to wait in line again. LOL

The $20 quote is for two chairs and one umbrella. Each chair is $7 and an umbrella is $6. You can get as many or as few of each as you like. Just find a spot that you like that is not on the first row and sit down. A beach boy will come by and take your money and provide umbrellas if none are by the chairs you want. You can bring your own drinks and eats of buy some at The Perch or Papagayo.
