Clearing the road now and it appears only one lane of traffic.

Yep, not showing a lot of common sense and/or smarts! Now, traffic is going in towards Sunset and using BOTH lanes! Somebody is going to get hurt in this mess.

Got stuck in the sand last night. Had several people stop to help push us out. This is the Friendly Island. My son and I returned the favor when we went out this morning. We stopped to help push someone who got stuck.

Last I looked (about an hour ago) the lane nearest the beach was getting covered again.
Glad you got out and also returned the favor.

People still driving on the ocean side lane, as of 7 PM, but I'd be careful in that area! Enjoy your trip, chickster!

Didn't realize you guys were here now. Where are you staying, BSV? If yes, lucky you. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Is the sand issue being caused by extremely high tides. We were over at Mullet today and the waves were bad. Couldn't even get in the water without getting beat up!

Lots of sand and an active sea. Just came through there. No problem.
