Orient Beach restaurant include lounge use - 06/01/2016 12:19 PM

Do any of the restaurants on Orient Beach include the use of the lounge chairs without additional fees?

Palm Beach is the only one I'm aware of on Orient.

rmg....just remember...you don't get ''free'' lounges at Palm Beach either....the price is included in the higher food prices!!!! one way or another...you pay for it!!! and bet by the time you leave, you will be spending way more than any of the other places!

I did a quick online comparison between Kakao and Palm Beach menu prices
PB's beer prices higher, but mixed drinks, bottle of rose, mains, apps all looked similar in price
Can't comment on taste

I completely disagree. We've spent a lot of time at Kakao, and we pay for chairs there. Our lunch tab, without the chairs, is about the same as we pay at Palm Beach, with the chairs included.

Kakao is quite a bit more expensive also than most of the others on the beach...ie... Le STring....Aloha and KonTiki.

and.....add the fact for the 20 dollars spent for the two loungers and umbrella, Le String for instance gives each person a free cocktail of anything that they make. And..FYI....i think they have the BEST BBC on the beach, if not the island!!!! Two frozen drinks have to be at least fifteen dollars right there out of the 20 paid!!!!

Even IF Palm Beach were more expensive, the quality of the food and service as well as the atmosphere would more than make up for any difference.

It's all about what you want. I prefer places with a bit more space between the chairs, as well as a more gourmet experience for lunch; and I'm willing to pay for that. I guess that's why they make chocolate and vanilla. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

Orange Fever announced that they are now open in the Green building.

They've raised their chair price, but still very reasonable at $8.

Orange Fever's beach, it's open every day at 8.30.

For only $ 8 , you can have a confortable chair (with umbrella), a free drink (beer, soda, juice, glass of wine or rum punch) and bathroom & shower facilities.
Large choice of Beers for only $3, Frozen drinks (16oz) for $6, Rum Punch ($4), mix drinks ($5), glass of wine ($4).
