Palm Court Hotel

Palm Court Hotel - 09/19/2016 01:02 AM

I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about the host for this rental and if it actually exist. If they are legit or scamming? They are on airbnb. When trying to communicate with them, I am having a hard time understanding their response to me, but I really like the property. I just thought maybe a local of the area might know who they are. Thanks in advance. They claim to have 2 private rooms at the hotel.

That is they actually own the rooms and rent them out. You do not reserve through the actual hotel.

Possibly they are entering their response in French and using a translating website. The text and words may be odd. I collect stamps and buy from people all over the world an experience this phenomenon. It doesn't mean that the person is not trustworthy.

I clicked on your link and it took me to something that said it was in Grand Case. Palm Court Hotel is not in Grand Case and I didn't see any where in the info that said it was Palm Court...I just did an airbnb and usually they are fine!

I saw where it said Grand Case. I think that may be a mistake. Their other property does not say that. Carole said her properties are side by side and the photos shown are clearly Palm Court Hotel. I just hope that it is a legit property. I just hope someone on the forum that lives there, may be able to verify this for me.The room is being held for me until this evening.

Several years ago we rented from a woman that owned 3 rooms at Palm court all on the third floor. She was the manager of the hotel at one time. She was very nice and we had no problems.Sorry I can't think of her name right now.

Paying with a credit card will give you some protections.

If you have doubts about the "owner" there are many other properties and agencies to consider.

Thank you all for your help. I will try and contact Jim. I have found a super host over at airbnb that said he would be contacting the airbnb office to help me verify the host and properties as well.

Cecile Lucidarme owns the 2 units on the 3rd floor of Palm Court. We have rented from her twice and would not hesitate to rent again. Her email address is Cecile@lucidarme.fr

I have rented from Cecile for many years and there has never been a problem. Would highly recommend her.

A big thanks to all that has helped me with planning our trip. I emailed Cecile, but she did not have availability for the dates I needed. I called Jim and he gave me a direct number and email address of the management. I called first, left a message, then emailed. I spoke of the studio I was interested in renting from Carole. She replied back and assured me that Carole indeed owned 2 properties at the hotel. Funny, the person of management was Cecile. She said she no longer managed the property, but still owned 2 studios, which I stated were not available. I reserved the 2 studios this evening with Carole with great peace of mind. Again, thank you all for all the contacts you gave me!! Of course, I will give a full trip repot upon return. Our dates are Mar.4 - Mar. 11. You guys have been awesome!!
