local boat / day tour / food/ drink - 12/28/2016 05:57 PM

When we were in PV Mexico a few year ago we did a boat cruise day that was designed more for the locals. It was very inexpensive & we had a blast! Food was amazing & the drink was free flowing. Dancing/ beaches / lunch...it was great.
Does anyone know of anything like this in St. Maarten. We have a car so we can go anywhere on the island for departure.
Thanks

There are many options on sxm for a boat cruise and I am sure you will get lots of responses I always plan a boat day when going to sxm as it is always a great day I have sailed with Ian Martin probably 15 times over the years and it is always a great time.. look up stmaartencharter.com on line or on facebook adventure sports sailing I believe it is. He has all types of cruises and the food is great, the crew is fantastic, the boat is very comfortable, music, sailing fishing snorkeling .. all adds up to a great day

I'd suggest you contact Dave Herbert at Happy Hour Charters. He and his wife Adrianna book tours with many different operators on the island, and since they live there, they'll have a good idea of which tour might be what you're looking for. If you're on Facebook, contacting him via his Facebook page is probably the easiest way to reach him, or you could visit his booth on the main road in front of Chesterfields in Philipsburg. I don't see any email or phone information on either page, so if you're not on FB and want to contact him, PM me your email address here, and I'll send it to him.
