Late spring early summer - 01/03/2017 09:56 PM

Hello to all and hoping you all have a very good new year. This will be our 6th return to St. Martin for my wife and I. All of our previous trips have been late July to September. This year we arriving the last week of April and leaving the after the first week in May. Should we expect the weather to be any different?

I have never been there July to September, but I have been there in April. Weather was great, it is coming down from the winter rush, and before hurricane season. I would surmise you will see maybe a little more traffic from your July to September timeframe, but still great weather.

That is actually my favorite time to visit. Everything is still open, high season is over or winding down and you will catch some of the Dutch side Carnival if that interests you. Weather is usually great and no threat of hurricanes.

This is actually our favorite time to go. We've been there many times in April and May. Weather has always been great and things are slowed down a bit both traffic wise and with activity on the beach. All restaurants still seem to be open as well. (We stay on orient.) Yes....the anticipation is part of what makes going there so fun. Hope you have a blast!

Thanks Zoe, we are staying at Villa "Carisa" on Baie Rouge for 11 wonderful days. Can't wait....oh yes I can!
