A Phone help question. - 01/05/2017 04:35 AM

Hoping someone can help.

Each New Years I call my friend on the French side. This year when I telephoned (a landline)there was a recording stating all circuits were busy. I tried calling at other times and heard a busy signal and now I keep hearing a sound like a dead phone line. Is there a phone directory that someone may help me locate a new number for my friend or validate the old number. I did dial 011-590-590 plus the local number for 4 days with no success. Thanks for any help.

I think at one time you were calling through France to call landline on the French side. We have never had luck using landlines in st maarten. We use cell phone & they work well. Good luck hope you reach your friend.

Try using a web based service like skype. For a very small per-minute fee, you can call cell and land lines everywhere. This should help if the old line is still in use

What you're dialing should work if the phone number is still active.
