Grand Marche weekend times

We are arriving this weekend late afternoon on Saturday. With it being Easter weekend, just wondering when the grocery stores will close on Saturday and if they will be open on Sunday.

Saturday I think the stores will be open regular hours, which would be approximately 8 PM. As far as Sunday, normally most stores close at 2 PM on regular Sundays. Don't know if they will be open at all on Easter.

Market Garden on Welfare Road near SBR is open 6a-9p 7 days a week.

That said Friday, Sunday and Monday are listed as Government holidays in SXM soooo I guess I didn't help much <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Grand Marche is now open until 6:00 pm on Sundays, however, not sure about Easter Sunday.

They are open till 6 again now? They were open later, then they reverted back to 2 PM, said it was a government thing. Hard to keep up! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" /> I will look in the Daily Herald and see if I can see any opening times for this weekend.

Just looked at the Daily Herald today and it does not list specific opening hours for GM for this weekend. However, there is an ad for a sale which they call an "Easter Sale", which goes through April 16, which is Easter. So one surmises that they will be open regular hours on Saturday and possibly Sunday. And by the way, the ad said that the regular hours on Sunday are 8 to 5 . <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Crazy.gif" alt="" />

Super U did have a specific ad with hours for this weekend, which is 8 to 8 on Friday, Saturday and Monday and 8 to 12:45 on Easter.

I spoke with Le Grand Marche this morning and was told their hours are: closed on Friday, 8-8 Saturday, 9-2 Sunday, and 9-5 Monday.

They've changed the business hours again in March.

At least they finally updated their website. It wasn't updated in January, hence why I had emailed them. Thanks for posting that as we usually arrive on a Sunday so I'll keep that in mind for next year.
