Looks pretty bad! Hopefully the water is down now.

Yup! It was flooded all right! Deeper than we've ever seen it before but we don't usually see the rains at this time of year. We generally see them in November!!

Better this morning but still some pockets of deep standing water. .<img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

I just took a ride (8:30AM) from Beacon Hill to The Towers and had no problem getting there. And back. Several areas on the mullet Rd had fairly deep puddles as well as on the road between Algeria to Beacon Hill Rd.
It is still overcast (9AM) and windy but it looks like it is clearing up.

If you're at all of a spirited mindset please don't take this weather forecast too much to heart. We landed in the pouring rain on Saturday and yet, by three o'clock it was gorgeous again. Yesterday morning and afternoon were lovely but again, the middle of the day not so much. Today so far the skies are a little hazy so another midday rain squall wouldn't surprise me but the beaches and pools are busy, the breezes are delightful, and the weather is what you make of it.

But you might want to pack a deck of cards, jic. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />

Dominoes, they don't blow away and are waterproof. Very seldom will you see locals playing much other than dominoes, especially outdoors.

For sure, dominoes on the beach but back in the room we enjoyed a few hands of rummy before bedtime. It felt funny to hold actual playing cards in our hands. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" />
