I see the exchange rate has been steadily climbing the last few days. Now at 1.093

Now it's at 1.10 Was hoping it was going the other way soon as I'll be there next Saturday.

Many places offer 1 to 1 rates so don't worry about it. Stay away from the Italian place in Orient Village. They really took advantage of me on Christmas eve as to exchange rates. I guess I should have been more aware and simply avoided the place.
My favorite restaurant of the trip was Yellow Sub and they did 1 to 1.

How did they take advantage of you. When I eat on French side I always use credit card so I get the real
Exchange rate. Not the restaurants posted

Kim,
I just wasn't paying attention and used dollars to pay. My complaint is that at every other place I went the staff made it abundantly clear how to pay to get the best deal. I know the Italian place didn't do anything illegal but all of the other places I went made sure to give me the best rate. So that's why I felt taken advantage of. Like I said I should have done my part to be aware.
