Rimas W

Rimas W - 06/21/2017 01:30 AM

We went to Phillipsburg today and decided to stop at the smaller Rimas that was mentioned on the forum. After checking out front street and the boardwalk we went into Rimas. We were stopped just as we entered the place and asked what we were looking for and everything we mentioned he said that they didn't have it even though it was on the shelves in plain sight. At the old store we have spent from $600 to $1000 on merchandise to bring home.

He was very rude to us. He could have told us that it was wholesale for just the island people and we would have understood, but everything I asked him about he would say he didn't have it and try to tell us of a store that did. Needless to say it tainted our trip today.

Was this the shop on Old Street, or the one on Cannegieter?

Both have been mentioned.

Ditto to Gary's question, as I was planning on going to the one on Old Street..

The store that sells a lot of Rima merchandise is at the end of Old Street and is called Kenny's. We were just there 3 weeks ago. Lots of souvenirs and stuff that Rima carried as well. Towards the end of the boardwalk heading toward the cruise ship terminal are a few shops that also carry a lot of Rima merchandise.

Carol,

Try the one we visited (twice) right across the street from Chippie Cafe.

Huhm, not sure where that one is. We will check out Kenny's tomorrow.

Kenny's is on old street and the prices on shirts, bags and merchandise like that are reasonable. We looked at some other products an they were more. Their card says they also have an address at 105 front street.
